Admission Requirements

To join PUIC, students must meet both the academic and English language requirements. Please note that there is NO application fee.

English language admission requirements

The language you are taught in at PUIC is English. To enter into an undergraduate or postgraduate pathway, you must be able to demonstrate the required level of English - please see table below.

PUIC works in partnership with Plymouth University's English Language Centre (ELC) to deliver pre-sessional English programmes. So, if you don't meet the entry criteria above, there are alternative courses for you.

Please note that, where appropriate, PUIC will exempt the need for IELTS/PTE from students who have taken local examinations in English, such as WAEC, HKDSE and SPM.
